01A session looks wrong

Every session is rebuilt from real timing data, and new rounds land shortly after they finish. If something looks off, like a missing session or a stuck screen, force-quit the app and reopen it. It fetches the round again on the way up.

When the timing data for a session has a hole in it, the app marks that session as not available rather than guessing.

02Changing your driver

Your driver is not a marriage. Open the Following tab and tap Change driver, then swipe to the one you want. The whole app re-centres on your new pick.

03Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple account. Manage or cancel yours in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. To bring a purchase back on a new phone, use Restore Purchases on the paywall.

04Live sessions

During a race weekend, sessions stream in as they run. If the live view stalls, the feed is usually catching its breath. Give it a moment, or close the session and open it again.

05Lock screen and alerts

The lock screen card and race alerts need notifications switched on for The Out Lap in Settings, then Notifications. The card appears about half an hour before each session starts.
